Daniel 2:28 – “But there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.”
Daniel humbly declared, “No wise man can explain this mystery—but there is a God in heaven who reveals.” Revelation belongs to God. He speaks not to flatter our intellect but to deepen our obedience. What He discloses is meant to glorify Him, not us. Daniel’s humility reminds us that revelation is a stewardship, not a trophy. God reveals truth to those whose hearts are teachable and faithful. When He grants understanding, it is so His name might be known and His will obeyed. The same God who revealed mysteries to Daniel still speaks to those who seek Him today.
Reflection:
Divine revelation flows through humble hearts. God discloses His truth not for our pride but for His praise.
Life Application:
When God gives you understanding—through His Word, prayer, or experience—respond with obedience. Share His truth faithfully, giving Him all the glory.
Prayer:
Revealing God, thank You for opening my eyes to Your truth. Keep me humble and obedient as You teach me. Let every insight I receive bring glory to Your name. Amen.
